Given his lineage, the high quality of his fleece and the high quality of the cria he has produced, he should have a long and noble breeding career. His white dam Marketa - shown with her gorgeous cria, who at 7 months is already bigger than her mom - is also for sale. Zuma, a true black female, has just weaned a beautiful black boy sired by BB. Her boy has a long, dense, lustrous, fine fleece from muzzle to toes. Whitewater, a large, gelded, white male, produces copious amounts of high quality fleece. All except Whitewater are registered with ARI.
Alpacas produce the highest quality fleece of any fleece bearing livestock. With only 4 million alpacas on earth - compared to 60 million sheep just in N. America alone - the law of supply and demand dictates that the prices of these rare fleece bearing animals will go back up as the economy recovers.
